Christmas Eve
I spent Christmas Eve knitting. And dyeing and panicking because everything I could do wrong I did. I poured the dye after I submerged the shawl because the color was too light. Then I panicked because a stripe appeared. The darker I went the more pronounced the stripe. In the end it turned fine although I inhaled enough fumes to; well, let’s just say I need to move my dyeing operation outdoors. It’s exactly the color blue I wanted and this, my lovely readers, is the way to block points on a shawl.
I bought a tree but I haven't decorated it yet. Actually that's not true. I did add one ornament. A sign of times to come. I hope. What is a happy sheep with bunny slippers if not the epitome of comfort.
